Gut Health Symposium Introduces New Speaker to Discuss the Latest Advances in Digestive Health
Kuala Lumpur – Leave a Nest Malaysia is excited to announce the lineup of speakers for the upcoming Gut Health Symposium. The event, taking place on 8th February 2023, will bring together leading experts in the field of digestive health to discuss the latest advances and research in the field. “Gut Microbiota for the next generation health & medical care; New approach by frontier science and technology from Japan” will focus on the importance of the gut environment and its relationship to overall health in Malaysia.
The first part of the seminar will be presented by Dr. Shinji Fukuda from the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University. His speech entitle “Gut Environment and Its Relationship to Overall Health: Why is it important in Malaysia?” will discuss the importance of gut health in Malaysia and the potential impact on overall health.
The second part of the seminar will be presented by Dr. Takuji Yamada from the Department of Life Science and Technology at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, who will introduce Metagen's technology for early colorectal cancer detection and gut environment assessment service. He will explain how this technology can help to identify and prevent colorectal cancer in Malaysia, and how it can be used to assess the overall health of the gut environment.
Finally, the third part of the seminar will be presented by Dr. Dai Ishikawa from the Department of Gastroenterology, Faculty of Medicine at Juntendo University. He will discuss the possibility of fecal microbiota transplantation for treating ulcerative colitis and cancer. He will explain how this treatment can help to improve gut health and overall health, and how it can be used in Malaysia to treat these conditions.
Overall, this session of the gut health symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of the importance of gut health in Malaysia and the various technologies and treatments that are available to improve gut health and overall health.
